In this design concept the material serves as a base to create objects. The material, used in its pure form and always in the same standard size (A4), has a function. Each function depends on the kind of material used. This design concept is a reaction to our ‘material world’ where every object exists in over a thousand forms. It’s an exercise in simplicity and austerity.

A database of materials evolves from the use of different kinds of matter, which emphasizes the importance of Matter. Feel free to use this idea as your own experimental subject and add more materials.
