SERIES OF SIX NAPKINS FOR THE CITY OF GENK AND MAD-FACULTY, GENK, 2010.
Six napkins, six countries, six recipes! Every napkin has a big stain that refers to a typical dish of a country in Europe. The stain has the same shape as the country, the colour refers to the recipe. The Belgian napkin, for instance, has a light yellow stain, referring to the mayonnaise on a dish of French fries. Other designs in this series are the Moroccan tajine, the Turkish biber dolmasi, the Italian tomato sauce, the Greek moussaka and finally the Spanish paella.
You find all the ingredients of the dish on the napkin. Once you’ve collected all the napkins, you can start preparing dinner; on the wrapper around the napkin you can read how to make the dish at home. Enjoy your meal!
