MERELBEKE, work in progress (2024)
A commission for the cultural centre of Merelbeke in collaboration with Platform Art in Commission.
Linde Hermans was invited to think about an art integration that could make the connection between the cultural activities and the green park. She placed 4 large stones in the neighbourhood park, each in combination with a brass tube. The tubes have different shapes that refer to utensils familiar from other contexts, such as a swimming pool staircase or the railing of a balcony.
